Since 2004 the Lagarta Lodge is managed by Regina and Amadeo Amacker, originally from Switzerland

Both have a lot of experience in tourism. Regina has worked in travel agencies and as a guide in Spain. Amadeo started his career in hotels. Later he managed tourist-offices in Switzerland and he worked for a Swiss touroperater and dealt with the most considerable touristic destinations in Europe. Both speak English, German, French and Spanish.

Having discovered Costa Rica – they fell in love with this natural paradise and decided to live here – in “Switzerland of Central America”.

They will be at your disposal and wish you a very warm welcome to Lagarta Lodge.
