LAGARTA LODGE (1) is situated on a hill about 40 m above sea level. It is surrounded by trees and has a wonderful view to the nature-reserve and the coastline. In a five minute walk you can reach the boca Nosara (river-mouth of the Rio Nosara). It takes only 10 minutes to walk to playa Pelada.

Nosara’s touristic-zone with souvenir-shops, supermarket, restaurants and surf-shops is aproximately a 10 minute drive away.

The airport and the bus-station are in Nosara village, approximately 4 km from the Lagarta Lodge. Furthermore, you can find in Nosara village the post-office, the police-station, a pharmacy, a spanish-school and refreshments.
