BEACH

The area is a combination of five beaches each with its own special attraction.

PLAYA PELADA




Is a nice crescent beach bordered with trees that provide you with welcomed shade. Walking around, you will discover a blow hole, seven natural caves, excellent fishing sites, bars and fishermen who will take you to see dolphins or turtles.

PLAYA GUIONES
Is the major beach being seven kilometers long and famous for surfing. You feel as though you are the first human being to touch foot here, thanks to the National Wildlife Refuge who is protecting the first 200 meters from any development or human damage.

PLAYA GARZA
Is a protected beach with a nice reef line in the ocean. Behind the coconut trees sits a typical Costa Rican fishermen village with the unescapable soccer field and church. It is an ideal place to launch your sport fishing adventures.


PLAYA NOSARA





With its black sand, this beach lies at the delta where the Rio Nosara and the rio Montaña meet and it is surrounded by great flora and fauna.

PLAYA OSTIONAL
Is another black sandy beach and is one of the world’s largest nesting grounds of the Olive Ridley turtle. The nesting “arribadas” can be observed once a month.
